On the November 26 and 27 Manifesta Director Hedwig Fijen led a workshop for young Georgian curators organized by the Center of Contemporary Art – Tbilisi and the Georgian Pavillion at the 54th Venice Biennial. The workshop centered around the premise of a possible bid for Manifesta by Georgia in the future. Participants discussed the possibilities Manifesta could offer and the objectives, stakeholders and logistics that would come into play when organising a Biennial such as Manifesta. The workshop was kindly supported by the Ministry of Culture of Georgia.
