Recently Hedwig Fijen caught up with Henry Meyric Hughes to reflect on the origins of Manifesta, it’s development and possible futures. Henry Meyric Hughes is former Director of the Hayward Gallery, Honorary President of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA) and one of the founding fathers of Manifesta in the early nineties and later became President of the Manifesta Foundation from 1996-2007.
