Manifesta purposely strives to keep its distance from what are often seen as the dominant centres of artistic production, instead seeking fresh and fertile terrain for the mapping of a new cultural topography.
In this video, Bulgarian artist Valin Serapionov documented quotidian situations of people waiting at the railway station with his video camera. He did so without being noticed, invading the privacy of his involuntary actors. Visitors to the installation automatically became voyeurs and reproduced Serapionov's secret appropriation of the private moments of strangers.
