Bureau Baubotanik raises awareness of ecological, social, cultural, technical and political influences that affect public green spaces and create pressure to act. Baubotanik sees itself as a cultural technique that, together with artistic and scientific actors, develops long-term, performative imaginary spaces. Oliver Storz studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and the TU Delft, Hannes Schwertfeger in Kassel, Stuttgart, Delft and Mexico City. Both have been working at the Wagenhallen Stuttgart since 2004, and since 2010 are co-managers of the Bureau Baubotanik.
