Join Manifesta 16 Ruhr as Education Assistant

Manifesta redefines the relationship between culture and society – using contemporary art as a catalyst for positive social change across Europe. Each edition engages in a deep dialogue with the social fabric of its Host City or Region. In 2026, this dialogue will unfold in the Ruhr Area, where Manifesta 16 is currently establishing its offices in Essen.

To bring this ambitious project to life, Manifesta is expanding its team in the field of Education & Mediation. We’re looking for:

- Education Assistant (m/f/d)

This role plays a key part in developing the Education and Mediation programme of Manifesta 16 Ruhr – with a strong focus on project implementation and engaging a wide range of audiences.

Do you have experience in organising educational and mediation activities, and are based in the Ruhr Area – or open to relocating here? Are you passionate about connecting communities with art, architecture, and culture? Excited by the opportunity to help shape a major European cultural event?
