On the 13th of December, Manifesta 15 Barcelona held a press conference to announce some exciting news for the upcoming edition in 2024. Over the past 12 months, the ever-growing team has been working towards the 15th edition of Manifesta which is set to open its doors on the 8th of September 2024.
Powered by the innovative efforts of pre-biennial researchers exploring our three core themes in specific clusters—Cure and Care in the Collserola Mountain Range, Balancing Conflicts along the Llobregat Delta, and Imagining Futures along the Besòs River—we're thrilled to reveal the leading Manifesta 15 venues. From the distinctive former prison in Mataró to the historic Monastery of Sant Cugat and many more—the vibrant mix of selected venues across the metropolitan region mirrors the dynamic, interdisciplinary spirit of Manifesta 15 Barcelona.
