Manifesta 14 Prishtina will host the 9th General Assembly and Conference of the International Biennial Association

Related to Manifesta 14 Prishtina

Manifesta 14 Prishtina will host the 9th General Assembly and Conference of the International Biennial Association (IBA) offering an exciting opportunity for the members of IBA, international visitors of Manifesta 14, and the people of Prishtina to engage with the 14th edition of Manifesta one week before our official closure on October 30th, 2022.

“The International Biennial Association IBA is a nonprofit arts association created as a platform for establishing, researching and exchanging knowledge and information necessary for institutions and professionals who plan and curate periodic art events such as biennials and triennials, as well as artists, researchers and others concerned with contemporary art. IBA is a centre for producing multidisciplinary discourse that embodies the productive and discursive voices of the contemporary art world.”

Biennial practitioners from around the world will present alternative education models, originated in times and places of crisis (conflict, pandemic, climate change) or embracing art and contemporary thinking as central elements of their methodology.
