Judith Hopf was born in Karlsruhe and studied art in Bremen and Berlin. She works with sculpture, drawing, and short film. Her work speaks of the things that shape us in our everyday lives, and in doing so respond to what can be called a human condition of the present. They repeatedly refer to the effects that developments in communication media, the economy and social affairs have on our psychological constitution.
